To get your piano to play wirelessly, and to get the app to work, the key is to have the latest iOS or operating system for your device. Now turn down the volume to about half way, touch play. (AirPlay is just what is says, it sends the music through the air). This white square is an icon that is used for "AirPlay". This is right next to the fast forward button. If you did this right, you'll see a white little envelope with a triangle pointing to the center of it. Touch the Music icon on the device's desktop. You can now verify that you can connect to the piano. Once you see this, touch the home button. The device will now connect to the c3 network. Device will now say "Yamaha C3 Network is now available. Device will now say "Setting up this AirPort Express to create a network."ġ8. Device will now say "Waiting for an Ethernet cable to be plugged in. Device will say "Setting up this AirPort Express."ġ6. I usually just make the password be the word "password".ġ5. Or if you're in a store, name the piano you're working on. So if it's a Yamaha c3, name it just that: Yamaha C3 Network.ġ1. Name this after the piano you're working on. At the top of the screen, you'll see this: "AirPort Express will create a network. Your device will now say "gathering data about your network." and you'll see a picture of the AirPort Express. Then you'll see "AirPort Express 617481" or some number. Look at the screen and about half way down you'll see "Set up an AirPort Base Station. Touch Settings on the iPod/iPad/iPhone (From now on I'll just say device)Ħ. Push the reset button on the AirPort Express for about 20 seconds, or until the led on the top of the unit flashes amber.Ĥ.
